In the late 1990s two trading friends found themselves deluged with requests for help about how to invest and trade in the stock market. One was a trading manager who had started investing in college and migrated to day trading. The other was a technical analyst who had learned about stocks as a teenager.

 

The trader approached the technical analyst with an idea: with so many people wanting to learn how to invest and trade, why not put together a workshop on the stock market? It could be fun to teach again and in a subject for which they both had a passion and unique approach.

 

The technical analyst had retired from the business world a decade earlier and thought the trader’s idea was rather wild at first. After all, there were hundreds of books and seminars on the stock market. What could they do that would be different?

The traders reply: A course that actually taught people how the market works, why it works the way it does, where to go for reliable information, and how to find and analyze stocks without the hype and get rich quick schemes. Why not put together a course of pure knowledge about the stock market, presented in a concise, down to earth manner?

 

That would be different.

 

And that is what our founders did. It took 2 years to develop the initial workshop format, which was a culmination of their combined 75 years of business, investing, and teaching experience. Their live workshops were so well received and appreciated that the demand for more workshops overwhelmed the time our founders had available to teach. To meet the increasing demand for our training, TechniTrader® spent the next 3 years creating the DVD Methodology Course so a student could learn at home, at their pace.

 

In March of 2003, The Methodology Course on DVD was offered on the internet and was an instant success. Students from all over the world were now able to benefit from the TechniTrader® Course.

 

TechniTrader® is now in its 8th year of helping traders and investors learn to be consistently successful in the stock market. We have helped thousands of students with our straight forward approach to trading and investing.

 

We continue to expand our courses and are introducing our Elective Courses and Master Trader Series Courses this year. These new courses help students hone skills even further and keep them up to date with the ever changing stock market. We’ve also added Student Guidance to our courses to guide each student through the process of learning to trade and then, polishing those skills further.
