TechniTrader® Winter Session Lab Classes
Beginning Friday November 21st, you can register for the Winter 2008 Lab Classes at TechniTrader. Below is a preview of the classes that will be available for registration. We will offer special pricing for early registration until December 3rd!

Lab Classes are 4-10 week on-line courses that are offered in a semester style format. Each lab class takes a specific topic that is explained in great depth. Graphs, charts, and other visual tutorials are used to aid the student in learning the material quickly. |
Lab Class topics and assignments are posted each Wednesday and remain up for the entire week until the following Wednesday when the next week's topic discussion and assignments are posted. This gives each student adequate time to study the material when it is convenient for them to do so, just like you would if you took a college Lab Class. This is an independent study course monitored by our guidance staff.
Lab Classes are developed and taught by Martha Stokes C.M.T. a Master Technical Analyst for Decisions Unlimited, Inc. and instructor and co-developer of the TechniTrader® educational programs.
Lab class students may ask questions during the lab class and Ms. Stokes will answer these questions the following week in the lab class. This gives you a personal connection to Ms. Stokes to help you understand all of the material presented during the lab class. This is a hands-on class and there will be some homework assignments with a review of the assignment the following week.

TechniTrader® Students who subscribe to any of our subscription services may register for any lab class at no cost. If you have purchased and completed either the TechniTrader® Methodology Course or The TechniTrader® Master Series Course, you are a TechniTrader® student and are eligible for a subscription.

Class 1: What is the Market?
Take a walk around the Stock Market with Martha Stokes C.M.T. and learn what the stock market is and what it is not. Discover what myths, misconceptions, and misunderstandings most beginners have about investing and trading. This Lab Class is designed for the new trader who knows very little about the stock market but wants to learn how to invest or trade stocks. Skip the rookie mistakes so many people make by learning the right way from the start. Registration is open to beginner and novice investors and traders skill levels.

Class 2: New Technology Cycle Lab Class Part II: How this cycle impacts Stock Prices.
Experience Level: All Levels. This Lab Class is the second semester of the New Technology Cycle Lab that started last semester.
Now that you understand the phases of the New Technology Product Cycle, this second half of the Lab Class will explore how, why, and when stock prices are affected by this all-encompassing cycle. Learn how to identify chart patterns that reveal where a stock is in its product cycle. Learn how to identify when the stock is on the cusp of a major downside reversal, early. Learn when to buy into stocks early in the cycle to increase your profitability. This Lab Class will help both the long term investor and trader buy and sell at the right time.

Class 3: Protect and Grow your 401K or Retirement Account Lab Class
Experience Level: All Levels.
Now more than ever anyone who owns a 401K, IRA, or other retirement account needs to learn how to select the right funds for the current market and economic conditions. This lab class is designed to give you critical information on how to protect your retirement funds from bear markets and how to increase the growth of your fund through proper selection and fund management. You will learn simple, easy to use methods for protecting your fund and ways to make it grow faster. This is a lab class for anyone who has a retirement account, even if you use a Financial Planner, you need to have the facts and understanding to tell your FP what you want to do with your account.
The recent stock market collapse clearly exposes the pitfalls of the ‘diversified’ portfolio. During bear markets diversification doesn’t help much. Learn a better way to protect your retirement no matter what the economy is doing.

Lab Classes offered change from semester to semester. Not all lab classes will be offered each semester. The format of our lab classes is designed around the on-line college courses. Each Lab class weekly lesson is posted to the LAB CLASS WEBSITE on Wednesdays, will remain posted for one week and are replaced the following Wednesday with the new Lab Class weekly lesson. Lab Class registrants may print off the Lab Class lesson, charts, diagrams, and homework assignments for their own personal use. All Lab Classes are protected by copyright and any other unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.
All Lab Class Registrants may email in questions during the week and all questions will be answered either in the next lab class or by email back to the Registrant.
