TechniTrader® Student Comments

Most seminars catch people just as they are leaving the seminar to ask for a testimonial. They do this because they know that this is when emotions and feelings TechniTrader® Students Recommend Us for Stock Market Trading Educationof elation are high. But no one shows you student comments that come in years after the student has taken a course and has begun to trade stocks. No one, except TechniTrader®.

All of our student comments are unsolicited. We are so proud of our students’ accomplishments that we would like to share them with you. Below are some of the treasured comments we have received from students over the years. Our students trade stocks successfully, year after year, changing their financial futures. We’ve taught thousands of people, like you, how to trade in the market – and we’re extremely proud of every single one of them:

Martha,

Just wanted to update you on my 11 year old granddaughter Kiera's trading progress.  We opened her portfolio in January 07.  It has increased 101%.  Now that's not a bad return for 6 months.  Although Grandpa gave a lot of assistance, she's learning.  But most importantly, we attribute the success strictly to following your teaching.
Now, Grandpa didn't do as well with his portfolio.  Because Grandpa takes big risks, and deviated from Martha's teaching about 25% of the time.  That's gonna stop!
Lastly, thank you so much for the tremendous upgrade you made to your Program; especially the new additions made to the Watch Lists.  You have no idea the blessing you are to so many of us.  Thank you.
Your student,
Eugene G.

Hi Monte,

I am WOWed with the simplicity of the program and blown away that I have learned more from this course then all my financial college classes about the stock market. Even though, I haven't finished the program yet, I am able to identify winner and losers already!

Take Care///RS

Martha,

Quick note.

I really appreciate it when you do in-depth analysis of an individual stock. I learn a lot from these.

It is not so much the individual stock that I am interested in, as the thought and analysis process.

I find it valuable to see my own shortcomings, areas that I just don’t concentrate enough on, and

that are worth improving on.

I also find it valuable when you cover specific chart patterns and trading styles in this manner.

This sort of knowledge, and your market sense, is much more valuable to me than the regular study

picks some of the students are following, although I do follow those as much as I am able. My goal

is to find my own trades, to master the scanning and sorting criteria, to read the charts fluently

and precisely, and to stay on top of the fundamentals that are most important to the trade. Some of

these things I am already fairly good at and some I need to keep working on. Be assured that I

appreciate all criticism and comments and really like it when you do advanced analysis of any

subject.

One last thing.

I have long been interested in the idea of swing trading, but my idea of swing often differed from

others. Most everyone considers swing to be something very short term, 3-5 days, but I don’t always

see the profit in this. Of course this depends upon the characteristics of the cycle, as well as the

time spent, finding, analyzing and performing the trade. I guess I'm just not as fast as some, but

when I see a chart I generally look for a short term swing of 1-5 weeks and an intermediate term

swing that can last for several months.

This is still the primary focus of my own trading style, although I have added breakouts to the

list. The breakouts work exceptionally well when there is no apparent cycle to trade by, or when the

range is too tight.

For the future.

I am interested in the process of creating new scans, particularly concerning reversals, trading

range, cycle time, and volatility. As well as better organizing my sorting criteria to view scans

quicker and more accurately. Some of this is contained in the Worden's discs, but I am always eager

to hear another opinion.

Thanks,

Ken

Martha,

Please don't set this aside this is not only a thank you note, but a question also.  I do want to thank you for all the training, it has been wonderful I think you’re very knowledgeable, and I really value your opinion.  I think I would be lost without you, Thank you for your time and patience.

                                                            Sincerely,
                                                            Linnet B.

Good Teacher thanks. I learn something new almost every day. I love it, Steve

Hello Martha, excellent post today!  Great words of wisdom.  I tell you, I was panicking a bit when opwv went down to 18.19's just a few days ago.  As I reflect on my decision as to why I bought as soon as I did, I thought it was consolidating around the 20.50’s; I jumped the gun before I saw the springboard or an engulfing candle.  I bought additional shares 'on the cheap' when I saw the spinning top at around the 18.19 mark, the engulfing white helped the next day, and it has been going up since...I got out of 3.5k at 20.60, with a solid profit.  I needed to get out of some of my position even though I didn't see any warning signs...but a profit is a profit...however this is one of those trades that worked out in my favor, when I didn't follow the system to a 'T'...good victory, but foolish decision!
I still have 4,000 shares, and I'm up a point on those shares.  I will be watching closely to see if the run loses steam...typically opwv runs about 4 or 5 days, then consolidates, and then makes its next move up or down.  I share all this, because I learned a very valuable lesson and that is I should have been A LOT more patient...and this was the point that I took away from your lesson tonight.  I recently purchased Steve Nison's two video program: Profiting With Japanese Candlestick Charts, and secrets to becoming a Samurai Trader.  It has a lot of valuable information, and reinforces everything I learned from your course.
Thanks to your training I'm up 40% this year (sons was a big reason as I bought 20k at 4.00 in Dec, and got out at 5.11 just before earnings...I no longer have a position in sons)...HOWEVER, I say this with humility of heart, because I know arrogance and pomp, and pride can and will be punished by the market.  I share this with you and you only because I want to thank you for all your help!  Take care, Bob A.

Even if BID had a better support level I found that tsv was overextended in
all different settings and timeframes for me. For even a small swing (if it
had good support) would this be something to look at. It’s a tsv all time
high I believe. Thanks for all your advice always and good luck with worden
bros. I’m running tc net and I love it.
                                            Thanks as always
                                               Constantine

Good Teacher, I know you don’t respond to "thank you emails", and that's understandable but that Long Term discussion email you sent out today is a gem. And, you put a lot of work into it, so, thank you,      Steve

Hi Martha. I just received my copy of the 2006 Stock Trader's Almanac. I want to thank you very much for thinking of me. I'm sure this book with be a valuable resource and I appreciate it very much. To this day, I have yet to do business with a company who so tirelessly creates a supportive customer service environment for their clients. It is and has always been a pleasure to be involved with you. Please pass this on to Todd Coe as well.

Thank you,

Scott
New Jersey

Dear Todd & Martha

I just wanted to express my thanks for the trader’s almanac. I enjoy the service and training your company offers. Anyone that takes the course and fails to continue with the e-mail support really don’t know what they are missing. Not knowing the future of social security this has been the best investment in insuring financial security for my wife and I.

Thanks again!

Bob D.

Hello Martha, Tiffany, and Todd, thank you for thinking about me.  I received the 'Stock Trader's Almanac 2006,' and I absolutely love it.  I was 'devouring' it last night as I was working out, and I'm currently caught up to today's date.  I love the quotes written in each day's space.  I was floored to say the least when I read, 'As the S&P goes in January (the full month- not just the first few days), so goes the year.  This indicator is 90% accurate!  Woza...Martha, they're ALMOST as good as you!

However, I love this quote too: 'In the stock market those who expect history to repeat itself exactly are doomed to failure.'

The whole mid-term outlook was interesting too...

Two last quotes I loved: 'Every time everyone's talking about something, that's the time to sell' (could have been written by Martha, but it was George Lindemann- Billionaire- Martha, are you sure you're not George, posing as Martha?)

'If you're not willing to study, if you are not sufficiently interested to investigate and analyze the stock market yourself, then I beg you to become an outright long-pull investor, to buy good stocks, and hold on to them; for otherwise your chances of success as a trader will be nil.'

Martha, you sure you didn't write this book!?

Thanks for being a wonderful teacher to me, and I know all your other students.  I have learned a ton over the last few months! THANK YOU.

Take care, and thanks again for your thoughtfulness...this will come in good use in 2006 and beyond!

Bob A.

It's been a while. Received a copy of the "Trader’s Almanac" the other day. Impressive...  Man was I surprised. Just wanted to say thank you to Martha, and Todd Coe for selecting me. It meant a lot to me, and told me how personable, and customer orientated your company really is.
Perhaps you can tell me if TechniTrader®  offers a "special yearly discount rate" for Martha's Daily Market Educator, and Long Term Discussion emails? I seem to remember an offer like that when I first joined. Can you get back to me on that?
Thanks again for your speedy reply.
Regards,
George L.

Hi Todd

I am writing to fill you in on my learning experience with TechniTrader® … I enjoyed the program very much… In terms of the cost versus information, I feel that the program is worth every penny spent. Learning about the stock market and paper trading first, before investing your hard earned money is definitely the smart way to go… Learning about candlesticks, I feel is a huge benefit. I have seen and experienced other programs first-hand (more expensive programs), and your program was definitely better. I like the fact that your program talked about the history of the stock market, which I feel is very important. There are two things I wanted to bring to your attention. First, the homework sheets that were given in the program are not all the same as the presentation slides. The only other thing would be, if the program could include a better explanation of the excel spreadsheet, maybe with an example using an actual stock.
I know that I will get my questions about the spreadsheet answered during the e-mail support, which I sent a request yesterday to start the sessions.

I finished the program about two weeks ago and spent about 12 hours last weekend just looking at charts and the indicators (using Tele-chart). I went back about a year or two and went through the charts, one day at a time picking the day I thought the stock would go up.  After going through a few stocks, I was able to see the indicators and where they should be when a stock rises. I actually had very good success. I also started using the excel spreadsheet and mytrack.com to place some trades.

I also started an options program from Schaeffer’s Investment Research.  For the program, I had to place three options trades. From using the knowledge I received from your program, and looking at the charts, I came up with three good stocks. On
3-22-2006, I bought call options on the three stocks. Three contracts on each stock. As of closing on Monday, I had made a net gain of $3,780.  Present price $6,240- 2,460 premiums. Beginners luck, or whatever it is, I am very happy.

Well, I have already taken up enough of your time. Thank you for all of your time and information…

Martin E.

Hello good teacher, I just wanted to let you know that I bought TXCO. It popped up on my scan and I did some fundamentals on it and it looked good for a position trade with no resistance other than whole  whole #'s to an all time price of $60 or so. Then a closer look at the chart pattern I saw what appeared to be a "flying dragon".  You sent us out candle patterns back in Nov. and on the flying dragon sheet you mentioned that this was a momentum play. Well, that’s why I keep your notes and thank God I review your notes. I just wanted to let you know “boy were you right". As soon as the fed announced the hike this stock took off.  thanks: )     Steve

Thanks. I love the course, by the way, and so far I am very pleased to have had the good fortune to discover your company.

Leigh

Hi Martha:
thank you so much for the e-mail and your thoughts about it. I'll definitely follow your advice and I am feeling I am gaining more knowledge every day with your e-mails and discussions.  I am so happy I find you.  I appreciate your time and patience to help every student. THANK YOU MARTHA and

THANK YOU ALL at TECHNITRADER®

Best regards,
Natalie

Dear Monte:

We were talking on Friday and I mentioned how well I was doing using the
TechniTrader®  Program.
It really gets fired up. Nothing before has worked so well for me!!!
You might not remember that at one time I dealt in the commodities market. A
California firm that promised the world and didn't deliver. Then I looked at

a real estate program that made huge promises up front, I took the course to
find out that it's recommend that you have $ 10,000 or more to put on each
house and give yourself a lot of work maintaining and keeping up more homes
while you try to keep renters in your rental.
Let me tell you I all ready work 50 to 56 hours in a skilled labor. I don't
need more work and I didn't have that kind of money to throw around.

Now I don't have a huge amount in the stocks so the dollar amount I've
earned may not seem huge. But I've got to tell you that since January 2006
the value of my Portfolio has INCREASED
37 1/2 percent. That may not make me rich today but I certainly see the
value of the TechniTrader®  Program. In the future that kind of growth will
certainly help support me.

Be talking to you soon.
Sincerely:

David W.

Dear Martha,

Thanks for your prompt response to all my questions. I
have to say that your course is terrific and I am
really excited to continue my education. Everything is
starting to fall into place. Your daily emails are
excellent; I find extremely useful the ones that
describe in detail the fundamentals.

I hope you received my 'introduction' letter. Thanks
again for taking your time to answer to all my
questions one by one.

Have a great day,

Fernando

I have to say this about the course. I have checked out a lot of different Trading courses. To me I have found nothing that compares with the TechniTrader®  Course. As I see it the TechniTrader®  Course by far the Best Course one needs to Learn Right about trading. I have had those of other courses after me to take their course and I have told them that the TechniTrader®  Course is simply the Best. Some wasn't happy what I told them and everyone wished me luck. There is no luck to it when everything is shown in a simple way to understand for success in the Stock Market. I went through the DVD's a few times, stopping often, playing back over and over again while taking notes. I then took highlights of important things and put them on a floppy disc for a fast look up while on the computer. I went through everything section by section using TC2005 just to study to make sure that I am doing it right. It was just as Martha did with the Printed Homework and on DVD 11. Only I used the Stock that came up in TC2005 as what they came up. Just to study. I could have ordered the email sometimes in March but I just wanted to take my time to have time to just study. I not good at crowding learning to get it over with. I rather take my time and study piece by piece. Maybe it slow but it gives me sight to see what I should do instead of trying to figure it out what is the next thing to do.
I also can't work the sawmill for awhile because I hurt my left knee and it is a little hard being on my feet too long. So the course filled in beautiful for the time not being able to run the Sawmill.
Thank Martha and Howard for putting together the Best Course there is for Trading. and Thank You Todd.

Martha,
your opinion on the chart pattern of the rapid cycling i.e. 5-6 day up and retracements

for example, the charts of FSL.B, UTF, CACH, FBC,ENZ.

now I wouldn't necessarily buy these as their volume is way too low for my specifications
of 500K shares traded daily. but as a concept of rapid cycling stocks that don't meet the
$2 gain to $1 risk ratio. is this a higher risk trade despite the candle stick pattern?

I rigorously check every risk benefit ratio before I trade 100% of the time. if it is below $2
potential gain I don't invest. however, I have had stocks that did advance, but still failed to meet the $2 dollar ratio. I have cut corners in the past and paid for it. now I have a much more defined sense of what money management, risk evaluation because I have studied more of the indicators.
my sense is that you will tell me to stick to my $2 potential gain plan and those stocks that advance, will advance but I haven't taken an inordinate risk in entering the position.
now that I’ve answered my own question (yuk) some feedback please.

my God trading is so much fun... simple in concept, complex and full of subtleties

PS I have had my 17 year old daughter at my side going the charts some days! she is curious about this "trading stuff”. what a wonderful way to teach fiscal responsibility at an early age.

all the best,
Paul h.

Good Teacher,   Thanks again for these 2 emails.  When I got interested in
the market years ago I had no guidance and even the gurus were full of
flaws.
I don’t even know exactly how I found your course, but I think I ran into
it
accidentally when I was inquiring about technical analysis software.  One
thing I notice about your emails is that you have a tendency to repeat
certain
things over and over. IM NOT COMPLAINING, I'm glad. This repetition is reinforcing the learning process so keep doing what you do. I really want to
become a pro at this. A heartfelt thanks for everything, you put so much
effort
into these emails. Have a great holiday,   Steve

Dear Martha:

You discussion of risk tolerance was outstanding today. It really
underscored real world reaction to uncertainty when one's "moola" is at
stake!! Great to see this done in a narrative as I once went through those
phases in the past but you captured the essence of uncertainty and how to
get around it!!

Barry

Martha:
I watched DVD # 7 last evening and was moved and enlightened by the material.
Moved by the way you described the impact your Grandfather had on your life!
I too had a grandfather who became such a mentor and impact on my life. To this day at the age of 55
I more and more realize how his subtle guidance still impacts my life.
My hope is that I may have the chance or “A” chance to
be that influence to one of my grandchildren.
As I get older I am realizing it’s not what we do in this life that’s important, but rather, what we leave behind!

Also viewing the later portion of the DVD it is truly an eye-opening recap of ECON and MARKET 101. (It’s been a long time)
Yes I’m certainly aware of product cycles etc. BUT actually never put it in such clarity, as you have, as it applies to the market in my mind.
With that in mind, are we in an era of growth and technology of alternative energies and supplying the BRIC economies with technology.
Is that the next market growth industries to be watching?

Roger M.

Dear Martha,

It has been a long time getting here but I'm set now. I for one will not be in a hurry. Just getting everything up and going has been overwhelming. At this time I'm not employed but I promise I didn't quit to get rich quick. I live in NW Arkansas with my wife and son. I have two daughters one married one in her first year of college. I believe swing trading is what I would like to do but it is not carved in stone. I have investments now in the market but they are handled by a broker. I will be starting with a minimum bankroll, mostly because it will not be scared money. I don't have a picture to send to you at this time; however I can give you a visual to help. Picture Willy Nelson and you will have a good idea. I'd also like to acknowledge one of your staff, Tiffany. I cannot thank her enough for her kindness and patience in helping me put this all together.

Respectfully,
Craig K.

Martha,

I taught in a public school for fifteen years and was also an administrator
for almost as many years.  I know how teaching and re-teaching the same
thing over and over can get very tedious.  I just wanted to send you a note
of encouragement and let you know how valuable these lessons are, especially
to us beginners.  I don't know how long you have been teaching this course,
but I am impressed with your patience and thoroughness.  I have seen a lot
of teachers (both good and . . . well, some were in the wrong field), teach
over the years.  Those who are gifted in both teaching and an expert in a
field outside education at the same time have been very hard to find.   In
my opinion, you are one of those rare individuals.

Thank you,
Gary J.

Hey Monte,

This is an interesting article on risk tolerance. I like the guru part as I have watched Jim Cramer for some time and felt like the world is coming to an end if I don’t get to watch the program. But something more interesting has happened since I’ve watched your course is that I put stop limits on all my stocks. But I did a paper trade on one in My Track, did not put a stop limit in and it fell over $4.00 this morning. Boy, am I glad I did not have a real trade going on it!!! So far I’m really enjoying the training and have bought 200 shares of stock using this technique w/ stop limits placed on all my stocks. So as far as I’m concerned it probably is the best course I’ve ever taken. It teaches a person to watch out for their own best interest.

Take care,

Don

Dear Martha,
I am about as impressed as I can be with the information that is in the candlesticks and the relationships they can be interpreted to mean.  But I am overwhelmed trying to understand what you have been trying to get us to see the past week.  The market bounced??? Huh?  A downturn?  And after the futures document the other day, I went to www.money.cnn.com. Then I went to www.cme.com. I had purchased a calendar book to use as my journal and I wrote down DJ 54.75, Nas 7.22 and S&P 6.06.  But these numbers aren't like what you say I need for indicating a market that's overbought or indicate an imminent retracement.  You've taught me what overbought and retracement mean but.........?  So all I can do at this point is to say, "Glad I don't have an exam on this tomorrow or I'd fail it for sure."  I'll keep the notes in order and I'll see the meanings by and by.  I think I am being told that I should trade long.

I have wanted to tell you since I looked at the DVDs that the one in which you lectured on Biological machines, Fuel Cells, and the future, etc.  was a masterful lecture.  After hearing it I was more sure than ever that I am doing the right thing in getting my 3 sons whose mom passed away in '98 of Lou Gehrig's Disease and 2 daughters (second wife) to know what the stock market is all about.  When I finish this course, I plan to pay for as many of them that want to be trained to have a perpetual income to get the training from TechniTrader® .  One is a HS Biology teacher and has a large garden in PA where he sells fruit and vegetables at his street side market.  Another trades on the market (Long only).  But his siblings know that he has more than they do salted away because in 10 years of it, he is financially way ahead of them.  My other son manages a big Food store.  The older daughter is homeschooling her three kids and her sister is going back to school for some medical training after just graduating her daughter from HS.

I'm rattling on, but I'll quit.  Thanks for the daily training you are giving me in trading.  I hope to be successful at trading after the paper simulation training, and I just wanted to say, "Thanks."

Harry B.

Hi Martha,

I am becoming a much better trader with the use of the TechniTrader®  program. I made a resolution this year to follow the rules and it has been paying off real well. I got into rail on the short side and was wondering where you think this stock could possibly drop down to or do you think this was a bad choice. I have not been trading short live and this was the first one. On paper my picks did what they were supposed to do.

Kind Regards,

Bob D.

Good afternoon, Monte. My Course arrived as per your ETA
Thank you. I have been studying like crazy and enjoying every minute. I wonder how I was as successful as I was. I read a lot of books but there is no comparison to Martha and Howard’s tutoring. . . .

Dennis G.

Don and I are so giddy over what we're learning from Martha that as Don said we could just become dangerous when we get this down.....Which is our goal!!
The problem we're both experiencing is trying to ingest it all as fast as possible... But day to day life and WORK ...REALLY get in the way.
We both admit that Martha's stuff is so to the point it makes all this other jerkin around we've done seem invaluable. BUT maybe we had to go through that to get to this point.  In all the years I've (we) used Telechart, TA always looked a little like gobbley- gook to us. Yes we watched our MACD's and Stoch's, but we see now those are merely the tip of the ICE-BERG. As I told Don the other day, "notice how you and I aren't talking about Stoch's and MACD's anymore"/ Martha brings a clarity to this thing that's inspiring.

But as the old sage professes, WHEN the student is willing the teacher will appear!

Roger M.

Hi Martha. Just wanted to let you know that although I enjoy the specific subjects you choose to talk about, I really am learning much more through statements like these from yesterday:

"Right now before end of market data, my momentum long reads 109 stocks which is insufficient to call a rally with.  For now, this upside move appears to be a fake-out bounce.  Volume is low for the day and activity has not been heavy.

For now the intermediate term correction remains intact with a bounce underway.  The markets may continue up weakly tomorrow but there is insufficient evidence in the charts and scans to call a bottom or a reversal back to the upside."

These explanations, for me, are really helping to unlock a keen sense of the market for me. Volume/price relationships, support resistance etc...it feels as though it is coming together for me because these 'basic' statements say a lot more than I think you know to a student. There is a very real boost in confidence felt when someone of experience like yourself hints toward what may be to come in the next few days and why. It makes it feel as though we are entering the market as a team. Now, I may feel this way because we finally have had some brisk movement, but I’ll take it either way.

Thanks,

Scott

Just thought I would stop by and say Hi!

I am retired now. Still attempting to get rich in the market and doing ok.

Your training has helped me a great deal. The part about the history of the market was the biggest eye opener.

My charts are just as wild as ever.

Try Stochastic 8-18-80 Exponential not visible, and moving average 1,7,14,45
This chart shows me when the bottom and top has really hit. The rest of the charts are used to figure when to buy or sell.

BA is getting ready to go up after 6-28-06. Their goal is $100 at which time all the managers will get a bones. This date is also important because the ending price of that date is where the employees will be paid a Share Value anything over $45 a share value. BA has $1 Mil set aside to pay out. The Air shows are coming up, and this has in the past given the company a big boost.

Check out GM. It’s just getting going.

I always wish you the best. And ref you guys at the other training groups.

Yours Truly
John C.

I have to tell you that I sent that comment to a friend in Kansas City who has become involved in TechniTrader®  at my urging.  She is in the free trial period at the moment but will be on board soon.  I didn't think that we were able to send responses via the nightly, so I had to laugh when I realized that my comment made its way to you. This is kind of like 'real' school days in the classroom when the teacher would overhear comments you made to other students!

The reason I made that comment to her is because I am trying to help her get over her fear of communicating with you.  It's actually not so much fear as intimidation.  Cathy thinks that you are too busy and have too much to deal with and she doesn't want to bother you.  Or she convinces herself that her question is just too newbie/stupid and not worthy of your attention.  So I wanted her to see that you and I communicate regularly, in a typical student/teacher way.  I wanted her to see how important each student's success is to you and how much you try to help, every day.

After you responded I forwarded it to Cathy.  And of course, you helped make my case with your positive and supportive comments.  You are right.  I never give up.  However, that is mostly because of you.  I believe you when you say that every single day in the market is a potential opportunity.  My husband and I have had a terrible year; very uncharacteristic for us.  We are usually quite successful in most everything we do.  A lot has come crashing down on us this year, financially and personally.  Bleak is the perfect word to describe the situation. During this difficult time, though, Bryce and I have still counted our blessings of good health, a beautiful son (albeit a teenager and all that goes with that!), a wonderful home to live in, and many, many good friends.  And, among the blessings counted has to be you and TechniTrader® .  I still can't quite figure out how I found my way to you but more and more I believe there was some divine intervention involved!!
I try to teach our son that if he must have heroes and role models in his life, try to look closer to home and not to professional athletes, rock stars, etc. I encourage him to look to people in his everyday personal life that he admires and respects and to emulate their good behaviors.  Yet here I am, somewhat hypocritical in that you are one of the people I respect and admire most in the world and I have never even met you. I said to you once before, and it still holds true.  You may be 3000 miles away from me, but I feel you holding my hand through this every day, leading me, supporting me, and urging me on.
I must ask you while it's on my mind, and because I promised Cathy that I would.  Are there any plans or arrangements in the works for another retreat/ seminar/something in the near future that would bring us together in Seattle or somewhere?  We would certainly attend.
Let me know.

With more gratitude that I can possibly express,

Carol M.

Dear Martha and Therese,

Thanks for the Trading Journal information. So much more is clear; you should have seen the stuff I was putting into the blanks! Reviewing the DVDs, it made clear that there are 4 market conditions: strong, moderate, weak and insipid. You also explained in the DVD that there are 4 Market Directions: up, down, sideways and tight consolidation. Then Therese explained that "when ML and MS scans are close in number, even if over 200, the market is sideways." So I was able to put it all together and understand where I am entering into the market. I'm sure there is still more to know, but at least I have a general idea formed of the market.
The last TT DMEducator on bottoms was absolutely an eye opener! The examples were indispensable, and from them I was able to form the concepts of the short and long  v and w and bowl bottoms. I went through my Bottoming Scans twice, making drawings of the stocks in those formations. Hartley helped me figure out that since this is the bottom, it is very likely that it is up from here (a no brainer!). (I understand that one cannot make such an assumption without checking indicators and fundamentals) In many of the charts Money Stream Mov.Avg. showed the actual bowl or a bowl being form.
The suggestion to use the weekly setting was so helpful because I was getting confused, looking at stocks in all the time settings and not knowing what to think. Is it correct to assume that depending on one's trading style one would use different time settings? i.e.: a swing trader would naturally use the daily setting and the position trader a weekly setting?
On a different note: Hartley and I would like to open an account with MY Track and fill it with all kinds of good things for when we are ready to trade live. However, I'm not sure what would work best for us:  do we set up separate accounts for each or do we make one pot for both of us to work from?  I'm sure there are cons and pros for each, ultimately it would be our decision but what have you seen others do and what has worked for them?
Martha, you would be proud of me. I've been staying up late into the night studying so much that now I know what is my trading style: I'll be a Day Trader! because I'm a morning person.

Thanks for all the support,
Marlene

Dear Winter, Your answer is what I needed.  Thanks.  If you would, please pass along to Martha and Howard my thanks for an enjoyable course; I know I'll be watching the DVD’s many times and each time will pick up something that passed me by the first viewing.  I wish I had found out about the course a few years ago. Bruce L.

Martha,

Thanks very much for one of the best lessons this calendar year.

It appears to me that you put a mirror in front of me and helping observing a

few but still persisting problems.

With acknowledgment, gratefulness, and gratitude,

Jeff H.

Monte,

It was great speaking with you this morning and signing up for the course.

I received the 90 minute course preview on August 14 and since then have
viewed it twice. I applied the limited description of the tools from this
overview to a couple of stocks and increased my portfolio value today
(August 30) by $ 1,700.00. I guess you could say that the course preview
already paid for the course! Of course I could not apply all the trading
criteria, determine risk and return, or calculate a proper stop limit and
finding those two stocks took hours of research. I am looking forward to
learning how to find appropriate stocks and determining to a high degree of
certainty that the stocks I trade in the future will be profitable.

Regards,

Ed G.

Dear Martha,

Being fully aware of  how busy you are, I hope this note is not inappropriate.  But in my heart I feel it is something you should know.

None of my children are. interested, or willing to be taught about Stocks.  It nearly breaks my heart because if I know that if they learned at their age what I now know thanks to you, they would be exceptionally well off when they reach my age.  But  let me tell you WHO IS interested.  My 11yr old granddaughter, Kiera.  I knew she is extremely sharp - learned ALL subjects in French including math, and is top of her class.  So eight weeks ago she and her younger sister came to spend the week-end with  Grand Ma and Grand Pa.  And here's what I want you to know.

While evaluating some stocks I said "Kiera, come over here a minute- I want to show you something".  She was totally attentive, interested, and VERY perceptive during our 15 minute session.  Much later that day she was able to accurately recount the meaning, importance, and identification of  BUY signals, Support,  Resistance, and  BOP.

Here's why I'm writing to you.  I remember so well your story of how your Grandfather taught you.  So, giving her interest and her parents' encouragement I am in the process of opening a Trading account for Kiera and will mentor her as your grandfather mentored you, and  as you have mentored me.   I simply want you to know what a wonderful LEGACY you and your Grandfather have started for us, and how appreciative we are.

                                                  Sincerely,

                                                         Eugene G.

I enjoyed her article in the October issue of Stocks & Commodities and I
wanted to complement her on a well-written article.  It is also nice to see
authors who use TC2000.  It is a superb tool and I would be lost without it.

I was somewhat surprised that she did not say more about the role of
psychology in trading.  I found that the technicals were really responsible
for only about 10% of my success.  It was the psychological aspects of
trading (e.g., following a well designed trading plan) that made the
greatest difference to me.  Your web site certainly does cover that point.

Good luck with your writing and with TechniTrader® .  I did not register on
the site because the LAST thing that I want is to be on another mailing list
and offered new opportunities.  The secret to my success to inward -- I
don't take hints or tips from others.  I have the foundational training and
now I need to use the tools that I have.

Bill J.

Dear Martha,
I'm missing your e-mails terribly, but I was finding the information too
advance while I was still working on a basic understanding of all that the
market is.
Through the course and support, Hartley and I have come to know you.  Just
this weekend we reviewed the DVD's again to glean more information. Watching
them again infused us with much confidence as we were able to see how much
we've grown in our knowledge of the market.  I keep the journal everyday and
Hartley bought the book The Candlestick Course by Steve Nison which is an
absolutely wonderful book, simple and concise, a must for any trader.
Your program is wonderfully and uniquely truthful and honest. I'm so
grateful to have learned it from you Martha and I appreciate you making
yourself available.
Looking forward to dealing with you again as I mature in market knowledge.
If ever you make an options course available, please let us know.
Thanks from the Millers.

Hi Martha:

Over the past few years I've been quite successful
in my trading thanks to you and your course. About
a year and a half ago, I was able to quit my job and
now enjoy the freedom and quality-of-life that full-time
trading affords. I thank you for that.

In one of your e-mails, you noted that there are many
trading styles and suggested that we "specialize" in
one to maximize our effectiveness. I did exactly that,
I specialize in the under-$1 stocks. More specifically,
I look for stocks that have fallen dramatically, formed
a solid base, then I catch the inevitable bounce.

There is one key ingredient that I'm missing, that I
believe will take my trading into another level, and
that I'm confident you can help me with.

I have found that there are two categories of crashing
stocks. The first is what I call the "fatal fall" - those
that for various reasons, crash and never come back.

The second I call "overreactions" - those that
sharply fall merely as a result of the collective over-
reaction of its stockholders, and after hitting a bottom or
forming a base, offer a playable rebound (e.g., VLTS,
VSGN, FORG - all netted significant gains for me).

My question is, how can I tell the difference? What
types of news/press releases (bankruptcy, failed
test on a key product such as a drug, scandal,
notice of delisting, etc.) would tell me that a
crashing stock will never rebound, as opposed to
one that will most likely, bounce back?

Thanks, Gary

Hi Martha,
I wanted you to know that I have been working with Therese on a number of issues.  She has been very proactive and quick to respond to all of them.  I really appreciate her assistance.
Richard

Martha again I want to thank you and your staff for your timely response. I have paid for several products in the past only to be ignored once the recipient had my money. I am looking forward to completing this course and then enrolling in the follow-up Gold course. Again my thanks and appreciation. Ron

Martha:

THANK YOU for that thorough answer.  I have been slow to realize that things like this are the way they are because they were put there by you.  I guess  I thought that many of them were placed by the Worden company.

Once I know that such a matter was a decision of yours I am happy with them although I still might be curious to know why they are where they are.  This matter of the moving average of volume is where it is one of the vast number of things that I have been learning  and using since starting TechniTrader® .  I am overjoyed with this course and approach.  If I had learned this approach to the market when I started out in 1970 ( when I was 40) I would be a wealthy man today.  This course is the best stock investment education I have encountered in 36 years of trying to achieve that education.

Jim K.

Hi Martha,

Success to date: 15 out of 20 positive paper trades, 2 losses under 10 pts, 1 loss under 50, 2 at break even. My confidence in using the charts is increasing. Love the Telecharts and Martha's indicators. Learning how to set entries and stop losses using support and resistance has been invaluable, as have all the overviews of the indices and how to tune out market noise.

Since I had done over 50 buys and sells through Scottrade, I was able to sign up with Interactive Brokers. So easy to calculate point gains or losses on 100 shares since you just subtract 2 points. Have noticed they are getting their money's worth through slippage, but as long as I make a profit too it's okay with me. Occasionally the program locks up for a few seconds, but by being able to attach stop loss orders to orders I have peace of mind.

I'm so glad we finally found TechniTrader®  to organize the trading experience. All that conflicting input was driving me crazy.

Thank you so very much - I think the fishing's going to be good!

Johanna S.

Martha,

I have always said, "more input..., more input...". I can't imagine
learning to trade and not having TechniTrader®  as my guiding light. I
can't wait each evening to read your email because they are so jam
packed with information and teaching...kudos to you.

As a data point, I believe I started in May of this year with my
fascination, paper traded for a couple of months. My goal was AT LEAST
100 trades. I surpassed that. Now when I look back, I never knew how
much I was learning. But I must add that you input was and is the
underpinning, and catalyst of my learning.

I then started with $11,620. Today I have $15,525 at last count and
growing. Boy is this fascinating - even the losses. I am going slowly
and methodically. Not trading everyday or even every week. I'm still in
diapers, and enjoying the growth. Hopefully someday, I too, can go full
time.

Thanks Martha,

More input,

Robert

Hello Todd,
My experience thus far as a student with TechniTrader®  has been quite enjoyable, as well as quite a learning experience.  Being completely new to the Market my first task was a search on the internet about the market itself and what stocks were all about.

This gave me quite a background of information to evaluate the various offers of training, as well as the opportunity to examine the demo software that’s available for free.  My function in a previous job was to select and test new and various kinds of software for the department.  I am not a programmer or developer but was considered a super user; this developed may ability to examine quite a bit of software in a short period of time.

What I have discovered is that TechniTrader®  teaches quite a few aspects of trading that I rarely came across or not at all, in particular the TechniTrader®  Scans and the use of futures in determining the market conditions. That in itself is quite a skill to be taught to develop as a trader if nothing else is gained from the entire course. The use of the springboard candle pattern and the dragon pattern as buy entry signals and their reverse as sell short signals is another feature of the training that’s quite powerful but not overwhelming to an individual new to trading.  The dragon pattern I have seen mentioned in passing but with minimal emphasis and the springboard I have not seen or a derivate thus far. The three basic patterns and their reversals that a beginner has to learn has to learn as a basis for success as a trade is quite different from the usual  suggestion of the learning of about 10 to 13 patterns depending on whose techniques are being discussed.

Then there are the indicators, TSV/ROC, BOP, and the RSI direction that Martha has given her own unique use. This again is quite an arsenal of information to be able to actually track the very institutions that are actually controlling the price movement of the market.

Last of all Martha‘s reminder that not only the rational faculty but that the intuition has a critical role to play in the process as well and point the intern in the direction as to where that faculty should be focused, after all reading a chart does ultimately comes down to an art form and true art does come from the heart and Martha as a true artist as well as the credentials she possess seem to me by all indications to be coming from the heart in teaching others the art of Trading.

Yours,
C. L. K.

Hi Martha,

Hope you had a nice holiday!  First let me tell you that I LOVE the Position
Trading Course!  I watched all the DVD's and started right away using the
Trading Journal for some on my watch list.  These forms are so helpful, as
you provided some also in the original course that I used, and they keep you
focused on every detail.  The course did answer some of my questions and
helped me sort out differences between the trading styles.

Susan

Hello Martha... I would be interested in an analysis of CAPA sometime .. if you could put it on the list I would appreciate it... Am currently studying the new Position Traders course...its great !  Thanks for the work you guys have put into it.. am learning lots

Thanks

Terry L.

Hello,
I just finished the position traders course.  There was some good information that I think will help me.  I especially appreciated the entry patterns and indicators.

Is a bottom pattern a support level in itself, or do I need to wait for a platform to form after the bottom is completed?

Thanks for your help.  I'm still learning and nowhere near going live in the market, but I think I'm gaining.

Kathy G.

Therese,

I cannot overstate how much I appreciate having you, Martha, Howard and TechniTrader®  as a whole behind me.  Your wholesome sincerity and the way you conduct your business is so heartwarming, it has literally brought me to tears.

With respect,

Ellwyn S.

Dear Martha:

Thank you so much for the beautiful Stock Trader's
Almanac - that was very thoughtful. I sincerely
appreciate your gift and even more, the impact
you and your course have made on my life.

Have a wonderful holiday season.

Gary

Please pass on my thanks to Howard and Martha for the gift of the Stock Traders Almanac again this year!  I hope all is going well for you, your trading and your business.

Congratulations on your new Position Trading course.  Although I have not seen it, I am confident it is outstanding, and will help lots of folks reach their financial goals.  The class I taught at the community college went very well and the college has scheduled another one in February.  During the class I talked about TechniTrader®  training courses as a source of continuing their education.  I was contacted by my students, Cy and Marilyn, this week telling me that they ordered your course and had completed about half of it so far.  I was of course very excited that they had taken this next step and scheduled some time to meet with them to answer a few questions they have after Christmas.  I sincerely hope there will be others from my class that will continue learning from TechniTrader® .

This has been a very exciting year and the best trading year ever for me.  I look forward to 2007 and intend to continue improving my trading results.

I wish you a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Doug C.

Hi all,

I would like to thank all the TechniTrader®  team for their hard work and commitment. I wish all of you Merry Christmas and happy New Year. Thanks for looking out for us in the Stock Market jungle.

Best wishes,
Misak B.

Dear Martha,

Just to let you know:  I went live into the market three weeks ago.  My

strategy was to break even my first week (to purge myself of greed) and I
netted four dollars.  My second week I netted 11.4% by Friday and currently
hold no stocks.  I decided not to trade this past week due to volatility, the

new year, and President Ford's passing.
You had mentioned in the DVDs that you used to go through all the
charts.  Well, I couldn't help it, but I had to see what was out there.  So,

I went through all 6951 stocks, flagged and sorted them by 5 and 1 day price

percent change (both up and down) then looked at what groups and sub groups
turned up the most.  I then compared these lists with monthly Hemescott
scans.  The patterns just danced off the page.  I hope I'm making you and
Howard proud teachers.  I can't thank you enough for what you've taught me.

I know this may sound corny but I truly love studying the market, the
individual stocks, and the overall process.  I never thought I would learn
so much about the world around me.  The greatest part is that whatever is
manufactured, built, or researched and developed, is all linked in some form

or fashion to the stock market.  And through the stock market all that
knowledge is accessible.  Sometimes my wife has to make me go to bed or
think I'd stay up all night studying.
An upside I didn't expect was the impact on my marriage and my general
love of life, both have reached new heights.   Even though I'm college
educated and have seen a good deal of the world, the world seems so much
less dark and unknown.  Thank you again; you've changed our lives.

                                                                Sincerely,
                                                                      Steve and Julie S.

Martha,

I just love your Email Lessons.

Michael Dean

Ms. Stokes:

I have found TechniTrader®  to be the best stock investing education I have ever encountered.  I am more satisfied with it than any other similar effort I have ever tried.

Jim K.

Dear Martha, Howard, Todd, and TechniTrader®  Staff,

I've just finished the basic methodology course and have begun the e-mail
support, and I just want to say THANKS, THANKS, THANKS!  The material was so

interesting that I probably went through it too fast, and am now doing some
reviewing.  It's true--I missed a couple of things first time around.
Martha and Howard, you give interesting, critical information in a
well-paced, easy-to-listen to format, and more importantly you include the
human element:  advice to take it slowly, be easy on ourselves, don't rush,
and listen to our intuition.  It's that human element that has me recommending
your course to all my friends who want to increase their income.

I have just ordered the position trading elective course, since I am new at
the game and have a limited capital base to start with.  I will be on the
edge of my seat waiting for the materials to arrive.  Todd, you do a great
job of getting the material out to me ASAP--THANKS.

I was lucky enough to have you guys show up in my first googling of "swing
trading" and I ordered your free DVD, which got me hooked.  Since then, and
since taking the course, I've been doing some random internet research on
other "education" systems, and sure enough, most are specific strategies
that don't seem to teach the underlying principles of trading and the stock
market.  Some even talk about "secret" formulas, which raise a huge red
warning flag for me.

I've also looked at a few books, and all I can say is that I struck pay dirt
right off the bat with your course.  I can sympathize with those folks who
found you only AFTER they plowed through a few other seminars, books, or
web-based "training":  when they say you are the real deal, they are right.

You respond to my e-mails immediately and give me the exact information I
need.  Even in this weird market phase, and not even having made a single
paper trade yet, I'm having a great time reading the daily e-mails, watching

the markets, analyzing charts, and learning.  This is a fascinating new
world for me, and I can't think of better guides through it than you guys.

So again I say, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

Very truly yours,
Lee M.

Just thought I'd mention how pleased I am with the Series Lessons thus far, and in particular, how Lesson #3 awakened me to methods for leveling the Trading playing field a bit more.  The more you play, and the more you learn, the more you become aware that there is more and more to learn!  But this Lesson #3 has really started the process for my reviewing many of my less successful trades, and realize how lax I have been in not analyzing the Big Money footprints made by their trading.   All these indications are readily available to anyone who is willing to dig deeper into their tool box of TC2007 and study not only the tools that are available, but how, when and where to utilize them.  Somewhere in my Candlestick studies I remember the phrase, "just read what the market is saying, that's all there is to it".  I hope my "awakening" continues throughout the remainder of the Lesson Series and many thanks to your firm in allowing me to participate.

Thank You,

C. W. E.

Thank you Martha for taking the time out of your busy schedule to respond to
my e-mail.  Just wanted you to know your TechniTrader®  is the best thing that
could have ever happened to me and my wanting to learn how to trade.  I look
forward everyday to coming home from work and taking time to sit and read
your daily e-mails.  Thank you for helping me achieve something that once
seemed an impossible task of learning to trade.  Keep up the good work!
Justin T.

Hello Martha:
I just want to let you know how appreciative I am of the TechniTrader® 's Investment Course.  It's a well-structured course. You and Howard are very good lecturers—effectively imparting the essential methodologies for successful trading, yet logical & lucid.
The "TechniTrader® ™ Trader's Market Journal is invaluable. As for the Appendix, dealing with Futures, and how to read, interpret, and use the information successfully, it's priceless.
Now, for the 30 E-Mail Lessons:  The in-depth discussions, valuable insights and tips, and clarity of concepts, constitute a treasure trove of ideas and knowledge, which is worth keeping, and reviewing as needed. Great work!
With respect to the Blocks Workspace, I eagerly await the DVD. Also, I can hardly wait to receive to the "Daily Market Educator, and the Position Trader Weekly.
Continue the Excellent work,
Gershom B.

I just wanted to give my compliments to the added feature within the DME.  Learncharts.com, has taken what was already an outstanding daily educator to a new heights.  Words fail to capture my appreciation.  Keep up the good work!

P.S. I look forward to meeting many of you in person during the June workshop.

Martha and Staff

Reading today's Long Term Portfolio discussion has prompted me to drop you an e-mail.  I simply wanted to say thanks, to you and  your staff for all the work, research and time that goes into the DME and Long Term discussion. The past 10 months has been an incredible learning curve for me personally  and having the opportunity to learn from you and the staff at TechniTrader®  has been an invaluable experience.  I look forward to many years ahead of great trading opportunities thanks to what I have learned and will hopefully continue to learn in the future. The company you mentioned today, Packaging One Corp is located about 30 miles from me,( in the same area as RIM ) so now that I know they exist I plan to take a ride up there and check it out for some future opportunities.  I will be attending the Workshop next weekend and am looking forward to meeting the staff from TechniTrader®  to thank them personally

Thank You

Terry L.

Just wanted to thank you all for the incredible learning journey that I have been on with your course. It is a very well thought out program. I was afraid that I would be in way over my head when I first made the commitment and "put my money down", but I wasn't that far into it when I relaxed and realized that this was very "do-able" program.
Anyway, thanks again - I'm taking the lessons with me when I go away this summer, just to keep this new knowledge refreshed and to pick up on things that I probably missed.
Martha, you do all women proud.

Just a quick note. I have to say the "pop out of the box" system has worked extremely well for me recently. I have had good (profitable) success and enjoy trading in this style. I just want to thank you for covering this method and hope to see more on this topic in the future. The primary reason for sending in the home work assignment today is because of my recent success. Thanks to you and your staff for the great work!
Best Regards,
Dave D.

Hi Martha,

It's nice to meet you and we hope that all is going well for you in the market and otherwise.
My name is Alfred. My wife, Elice, and I have been studying the course together. You are wonderful teachers. We have enjoyed it very much and are looking forward to learning more. Our goal, this year, is to learn to trade for a living or, at least, to become good enough that we would be able to supplement our income and prepare for a better "retirement" by trading in the stock market.

I'm not really a beginner. I've studied many books and courses over the years. I've done some stock trading, off and on, through the 80s/ 90s and although I'm familiar with most of the things that you teach in the course, there is much that I did not know and needed to learn and  I love the way that you've put it all together into such a complete, and easy to follow, trading system.

 Sincerely,
 Al D.

Just wanted to let you know that we had a great day today..... Our best ever.  Vivo triggered for us and others that we were holding made legs up.  All together our daily movement losses were less than $200 (probably less than $100 but I didn't calculate to the penny).  All in all we had a $1200.00 day.  Now some of that is coming out of retracements that are still at a bit of a loss for the position.... but moving in the right direction..... Most is on stocks that were already in profit on. The GTC thing is doing it for us.  I know this ... Next time I see perfect set ups and have the free cash I'm going to be a bit more aggressive with my share lot.  Thanks again.

Martha, thank you for your prompt responses to my queries.  It makes this class truly enjoyable to have ones questions answered in a timely and professional manner.

Behram D.

Aloha Martha,

I’m always glad that my humor isn’t totally lost.  I’m also glad I didn’t offend you with the grandmother comment/compliment.  Your style of training and mannerisms are of uncanny likeness.  You of course are a much younger, slimmer, and a whole lot easier on the eyes than my grandmother could ever have hoped for.

I do a majority of my stock research while I work and I’m never short of work hours.  If I have to be stuck in one place and indoors for this many hours at a time in Hawaii it seems that I should make that time count.  Besides diet and exercise which I’m already doing, I want to make more money.  The style you teach doesn’t involve having to watch the stocks every waking second and believe me I love that part.

I just received the market trend information from Tiffany and am once again grateful for all of your help.  I’ve learned a lot in a very short time and have you and Howard to thank.  If you folks ever have the inclination to come to Waikiki for some sun and fun or even hold a seminar here (GAK!! That’s work, really nobody should do that when visiting Waikiki) please let me know, I would be happy to be your host and to have you as my guests.

Thanks again,
Ken G.

Hi Martha:

I've been practicing my risk tolerance with the help
of your pep talk a few months ago. I hung in a bit
longer today and came away with $1,000. For me
that is an incredible number.

Thank you

What a ride I had from 4:30 pm on 1/31 to 9:30 am today.I watched Goog drop from 430's to 350 AH (last night), and I picked up a whopping 50 shares, BUT got out before market open...get this, I got in at 360.00 (on the nose), and bailed at 392.00...not a bad momentum trade...just remember to include me on your more advanced traders list...lol...too bad I didn't have the capital base to support 1000 shares!! :-)  I knew it was WAY over sold...although, I wouldn't mind a trading channel of $350-400...we'll see...just watching for now...take care. Bob A.

Dear TechniTrader®  Team:

I would like to express my appreciation to the Team in putting together the Trader Lessons 1 to 5. It really outlined the fundamentals of Trading for success in terms of the Trading Pyramid.

Your lessons will assist me to be a better trader.

Thanking you

Hubert W.

Good afternoon,

Please don't change a thing.  The way you approach it is professional, supportive, and knowledge-based.  I, as you know because I have told you before, am very grateful that I found you.  Before finding TechniTrader® ® I was discouraged by all the self-serving, pompous folks out there using any gimmick imaginable to convince you that you should pay them to tell you how to beat the market.  Thanks for not being a "gorilla", or Cramer, or any of those other foolish creatures!  This is serious business, investing our hard-earned dollars, and I personally want serious-minded, well-intended people guiding and educating me.

Sincere thoughts from one of your most supportive students,

Carol M.

To whom it may concern:

My name is Mitchell, I received the DVD's in
December and have gone through all them. I went
through them very quickly and started paper trading. I
did everything that was assigned in the DVDs. However,
I did notice that I missed some stuff as I was
practicing, so I went through them again and took some
better notes. A good percentage of the trades that I
have tried never executed. The ones that have executed
the stop-limit orders have done well, but still
haven't completed the full number of points that I
calculated in the risk reward excel sheet.  I have
been doing the scans every night since I received the
DVD's and even tried shorting. So far everything I
have done has been on paper. I 'm still a little
shaking on the indicators and would definitely need
some more information about how to read them.
Especially on shorting stocks. I put some money into a
broker account that works very similar to myTrack,
but have not traded yet. I spent about an hour to
three hours a day just learning about stocks. During
the weekends I spent some of my time in the library
reading books on technical analysis and fundamentals.
I am extremely enthusiastic about learning how to
trade and want to become a successful trader.

Mitch R.

Just wanted to let you know that we did it again.  We have had another day that saw over $1000 dollars in upside movement in one day.  The GTC is primarily what is doing it for us but also focusing on a list of researched stocks that we watch and scrutinize nightly for optimal entry ....... but none of this would have been possible without your training.  I'm sure there will be a day when $1000 isn't an exciting amount for us but when we first started $200 was cause for a smile.  But then again we don’t exactly have a large account, but it is growing.

It seems that our success intensifies our desire to improve and get better.  The more I learn the more I see that there are a lot of subtleties involved in analysis.  6 months is really an unrealistic timeline to begin to get it all.  I know that there is a lot more to learn and probably as we learn things we will begin to change and we will have to adjust ... but we know how and what to look for and of course great guidance.

I'm looking forward to the coming years of our continued learning.  My hope is to become really good at this.

Scott

Good Teacher, I don’t know if you got to my email which I sent you yesterday, but I sent it BEFORE you sent out yesterday's email, so you answered all my questions and then some on AIRM. I'm so glad it was down to day and like you mentioned, I hope it consolidates here for a month. I also noticed that the rsi 15 hit the grey overbought line today. I would much rather hold this stock long term then have to sell it cause of a steep retracement. I felt good when I touched on some of the same points you brought out. It shows me that I’m becoming a better trader and I thank you for that. To be honest I’m more excited about the knowledge and experience I am gaining, than making the money.  Thanks again and enjoy the long weekend,    Steve

Hi Martha,

You and Howard have done a great job in creating the program. Concise and
easy to understand, I can't wait to put my new knowledge into action. I am
41 years old and self taught. I've been using TC2000/05 and trading off and
on as a swing trader for about 6 years. I currently use only discretionary
money for trading. My goal in trading is to become confident, proficient and
successful enough to use only trading as a means to grow my "safe" money as
well. I feel good about what I have learned from your CD's thus far and look
forward to learning more.

Thank You,
Joe E.

Hello again Martha,

Oops, we sent our introduction email before it was finished!  We wanted to say Thank you, we've really enjoyed learning trading with you so far, you've brought it to a level that makes it possible for us to feel we can actually invest in the stock market without fear!   We look forward to gaining more knowledge and skills and eventually beginning real trading.

Now the market's closed, it's off to TC2005 for us!

Sincerely,

Bill W. and Beth G.

Dear Monte:

I was very excited to receive TechniTrader® 's 90 minute promotional video
early in January 2006. Since I had already been trading during all of 2005
and losing. I decided to apply the principles learned from the video and am
happy to report that in just a few weeks I have earned from the Stock Market
the money to pay for the study at home course. To say the least I'm looking
forward to practicing all that is taught in your course.

Sincerely:

David W.

Hi Martha,

Just wanted to touch base, I've been reading your E-mails and taking notes. I didn't sign up for the extended E-Mails because you gave us ALOT of info that I didn't have time to digest it all. I'm in the process now.

Paper trading is going well I'm in three positions applying what I've learned. It seems to become easier the more I participate.

When I don't understand something I refer to your E-Mails or watch the CD's. I know you’re busy and I don't want to bother you with info I already have. It's slow but I'm way better than I was a month ago.

My ultimate goal is to trade options, but I don't see that happening for a while.

Thank you for all your help!

Bob T.

Good Teacher, thanks for teaching me and helping me understand the market. You’re the best kept secret on Wall Street. All the best, Steve

Dear Martha, Howard, Todd, and TechniTrader® Staff,
I've just finished the basic methodology course and have begun the e-mail support, and I just want to say THANKS, THANKS, THANKS! The material was so interesting that I probably went through it too fast, and am now doing some reviewing. It's true--I missed a couple of things first time around.
Martha and Howard, you give interesting, critical information in a well-paced, easy-to-listen to format, and more importantly you include the human element: advice to take it slowly, be easy on ourselves, don't rush, and listen to our intuition. It's that human element that has me recommending your course to all my friends who want to increase their income.
I have just ordered the position trading elective course, since I am new at the game and have a limited capital base to start with. I will be on the edge of my seat waiting for the materials to arrive. Todd, you do a great job of getting the material out to me ASAP--THANKS.
I was lucky enough to have you guys show up in my first Google of "swing trading" and I ordered your free DVD, which got me hooked. Since then, and since taking the course, I've been doing some random internet research on other "education" systems, and sure enough, most are specific strategies that don't seem to teach the underlying principles of trading and the stock market. Some even talk about "secret" formulas, which raise a huge red warning flag for me.
I've also looked at a few books, and all I can say is that I struck paydirt right off the bat with your course. I can sympathize with those folks who found you only AFTER they plowed through a few other seminars, books, or web-based "training": when they say you are the real deal, they are right.
You respond to my e-mails immediately and give me the exact information I need. Even in this weird market phase, and not even having made a single paper trade yet, I'm having a great time reading the daily e-mails, watching the markets, analyzing charts, and learning. This is a fascinating new world for me, and I can't think of better guides through it than you guys.
So again I say, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.
Very truly yours,
Lee M.

Just a few words and comments:
For the last 50+ years I have always attempted to learn something new every day. My learning about stocks was very limited until I ran across TechniTrader® while browsing the internet. Seek, knock, and ask (how true).
I got some books to read and did a lot of research, got your DVD, and here I am. I learned a lot about stocks that I never dreamed was out there. No wonder stockbrokers want to handle your money until you go broke (why they call them brokers). You really have an excellent course, which gives good common sense things to do and think about, and research is right up my alley.
I have taken some college courses through the years but I honestly think this course is the BEST one I will ever take. I am a lifetime student and will never be too old to learn.
I am retired and it feels good to be able to do what, when and how to seek my goals, and don't have to be bothered with what other people think.
Sincerely,
Robert D.

It all makes perfect sense now. I’ll be much more aware in the future with this and other stocks.
Just to let you know, I really, REALLY appreciate what I’ve learned from you.
You have such an intelligent, no-hype way at presenting the facts. You are a true teacher.
Do you ever present special seminars? I would love to attend if you do.
Warmest Regards,
Joe C.

Written the day that the Chinese Stock Market crashed in February 2007:
“Thanks to TechniTrader®, I saw this market fallout coming this AM, when I looked at the pre-market indicators.
Sincerely, Ed

TechniTrader® Support Team:
Thanks for the last email. I try to live a moral life as best I can and won’t even invest in tobacco stocks, casinos etc., with the exception of PTT, which I bought strictly on technicals at $4.00 and will ride it up till it ends its run. : ) A few people have told me that there's no difference between gambling and stock investing. I like the points you brought up. I also asked them if they keep money in a bank to earn interest or in a retirement fund or even their social security. I see stock trading as an investment just like buying a piece of real estate as an investment. I also want to thank you for making me a better trader. I’m making a lot of money but I’m also learning to read charts, candlesticks, indicators, and getting a good feel for the market thanks to you. If you need me as a reference for prospective students looking to sign up for TechniTrader® Courses, you have my # and email and feel free to give it out. All the best. Steve

Thank you guys so Much!!!!!!  I really think you are all great. I'm recommending the course to all my friends and colleagues! Anybody who will listen! Once I become a successful trader, I'll get a t-shirt made stating, “I'm a TechniTrader® Graduate, Successful and Proud" - Take Care Guys, James C.

Recommendation a student forwarded to us after he had responded to a prospective student:
“You will learn more from Martha on Market Conditions and what to look for in stocks than you ever have before.
Frankly, it’s the best 1000 bucks you’ll ever spend! OR I have ever SPENT!  On Stock Trading, And I have spent a lot!
She has done more to teach me what to look for, what to watch for, than anything else I have tried. I use to look at TC2000 charting and REALLY didn’t have a good clue on what some indicators were saying.
Now it’s OK, TSV is doing this… ROC is doing this…., BOP is GOOD/BAD. Money stream is this. Volume is telling me this, MA is this indicating this.
Time to go/ time to stay in the trade. After 8-10 yrs. Of dinking around in the Stock Market I actually feel I can make some money now THAT I CAN KEEP over time. Not UP/down, UP/DOWN
SHE does NOT fly by the seat of her pants. If anything she is conservative in her trading style, so she doesn’t give you the buy here, sell here lingo. She doesn’t provide a lot of excitement, just a common sense approach.
She will make you a better trader! BY EDUCATING YOU! Over time.
As Will Rogers said,” I’m not nearly as concerned on the RETURN “ON” my Money… BUT the RETURN “OF” MY MONEY.”
Martha is a master at what she does and what she teaches! She states she was once a teacher. Her daily lessons are as GOOD as any University class course you could ever take.
I look forward to her daily lessons and there are days when I’m in awe of what this person (knows) and sees in Charts.
Now you may think this is a RAH, RAH speech. NO, it’s just the way I feel about TechniTrader®.
Good Trading!
Roger M.”

Greetings from Edmonton, Alberta,
How can I begin to thank all of you sufficiently for the gratitude I feel for everyone at TECHNITRADER®? It seems impossible to me at this moment to say the right words.
I will be entering into a review of the Methodology Course as I continue to practice what I have learned. Thereafter, as you previously recommended, I will continue my studies with the Master Series.
With good will and a thankful heart,
Tracy G, Your student.

Martha & Howard,
My education in the stock market started with your basics class (March 2000) and then onto your advanced class. I have continued my education over the years honing my skills and relentlessly preparing for the next trading day. And yet I still feel your sense of the market is better than mine will ever be, so I plan on ordering the newsletter again in the future.
I also wanted to let you know that even though I still aspire to reach your level of knowledge, my trading has been very successful. I work now only because I choose to. My trading profits have become a far greater income than my paycheck. My wife no longer has to work and I have secured my children's education. I plan to give the community in which I grew up 2 more years of service and will retire at the age of 45 to pursue other passions.
Your education and coaching set my feet on a path that changed my family’s future. I don't have the words to express my gratitude other than, thank you very much.
-Doug C. December 2005
Thanks for all you have done for me. In the last year, I have learned much and my picks are at a minimum of 90% profitable. Especially thanks for what you taught me about getting into positions and setting stop losses. The few that didn't produce what I expected, didn't cost me anything as they would have had I not gone through your course! Bob K.

I would like to get my money back on all those other courses and software programs I have invested in over the last 6-7 years, because they can't hold a candle to what you guys have done to making sense out of the whole trading process. Thanks for the big picture, putting it all together and filling in the gaps as to how to make what I thought I learned about trading make so much more sense...and especially thank you guys for making it super simple. The way you are teaching this subject has allowed me to get the rest of my life back. George E.

The most important thing I learned was the numerous little bits from the hard lessons that the teachers have learned. Sort of street-wise stuff for the unaware. I liked the general market and trader psychology. I liked hearing that even the 'pros' have a lot of improvement to make or have made silly mistakes too. The 400+ page manual helped me follow the presentation. The course covered almost everything imaginable. Ron R.
The most important thing I learned was reading graphics, entry, and exit calculations. Arrif G.

Excellent; I was intrigued the whole time. Kathy C.

The indicators in the class were wonderful and different. I haven't traded stocks for many years because I was completely unhappy about trading through a broker. Now I can trade on-line. Great advice from direct personal experiences. Bob P.

Very enjoyable. You made the subject matter fun rather than frightening. My husband asked me to come; we had fun. Thank you-Kathy B.

Boy you were right in your thoughts about the market this week! I can't remember the last time I was as excited as I am now about learning. Gary O.

What can I say? This is great! It would be very hard to find a teacher like you who has the student's interest at heart. Thanks a million for being so concerned about us. This is very encouraging. Tulsi D.

Very Excellent! I liked the teacher's time management. My favorite part was examining the teacher's last set of stock picks, very valuable info. Mike S.

I devoured every tidbit and only wonder what important things I missed and didn't learn. Dana S.

Thank you for sharing your letter overview. It is very well written, succinct, lucid, and easy to follow. Additionally, it is heartfelt honest, and good advice, as directed to all of us. I wish someone would have given me directions like this 30 years ago. You do a great job of teaching. Mike S.

I am very happy with what I have learned. I strongly recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn how to manage their portfolios. TechniTrader® demystified the Market for me. The course builds gradually on clear & concise principles.  The convenience of being able to replay the  DVDs for clarification and the outline course workbook was most helpful. I use the workbook now for quick references. The course has paid for itself. Paul H.

Well, it certainly has been fun trading. Since I began, I have never been able to put 2 days positive in a row together. I have strung 3 in a row, and 4 out of the last 5. Much of the credit is due to you and a better grasp of some technicals. Not being patient and being greedy will do you in. You are a calming influence pointing out the virtues of patience. I like hearing it every day. It helps! Dave P.

All I have to say is you're an amazing teacher...thanks for the info...-Bob A.

Jonathan & I would like to thank you for blessing us this year by getting to know you both ~ as well as getting to know the stock market more through the both of you. What a privilege to learn so much and with people of integrity. Thank you very much. We wish the both of you a very wonderful, prosperous, and romantic New Year. -Jonathan & Stephanie K.

Martha, I am very appreciative of your efforts. My trading has been much better because of what I have learned from you and your emails. My options trading is more precise because of using your techniques. Adam B.

I wanted to say thanks for your excellent course and Martha's e-mails, which, by the way, are worth every penny. Greg E.

Hi Martha, I just want to take a minute to thank you for your time and effort you give in teaching all of us about trading stocks. It's certainly a lot harder than I thought it would be. You seem to always know when to send out a bit of encouragement when I'm frustrated with my progress. May God bless you and your team with a wonderful Christmas and a great 2006. Jerry

We have been studying all 12 DVDs over and over and slowly ‘burning them in ‘our aging (80 yr ‘oldie’) brains. It is almost like going back to college for a graduate degree! We believe it is an excellent training program and have confidence that with continued practice we can use it successfully to augment our limited SS income. Both Howard and Martha present the material in such an interesting way—easy to listen to. We particularly enjoyed learning about her grandfather Otto and his start in America. Bob and Virginia F.

Looking forward to putting everything we learned into practice. Thanks for an excellent course. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to learn to trade. Steve S.

I just wanted to thank you and Howard for helping me to get started. If I had never taken your course then I would be a lot like my friends saying that the stock market is just too high of a risk. I will be in touch to let you know how things are going for me and I hope that I can still get some advice from you from time to time. Once again thank you for all of your support and your wonderful staff. God bless you all. Keith H.

I learned more from this course in two days than the stack of books and the last three years that it took to read them. I will see you soon, Mike S.
