Why Technical Analysis?

The use of technical analysis for selecting stocks to trade has grown exponentially in the past few decades.  This one thing has leveled the playing field between the professional traders of the market and retail traders, like most of you.

Most of you have probably been taught that you should first check fundamentals--the health of the company--and then study the stock's chart. In this lesson, I am going to show you just the reverse.

In today’s market, you should start your search for stocks to trade by studying charts first. 

Why? Because everything that is known about the stock at any given time is revealed in the stock chart.
